Color Of The Year – Marsala
Commonly used to give rich flavor to your favourite dish, Marsala is a fortified wine from Sicily. It’s also the Pantone Color Of the Year for 2015. Softer than red and more dynamic than brown, it’s perfect for adding a cozy feel to any room and making large spaces feel intimate.
Because it’s an earth tone it will pair beautifully with green and gold (use metallic accents for a bit of sparkle). Combine with dark woods and leathers for a soothing space perfect for relaxing or balance with light woods like maple, oak or pine for contrast.
But don’t limit yourself to just the walls! If this deep colour feels too heavy for the entire room use it in fabrics, rugs, furniture or pillows.

Don’t know about walls but love the couch!
The couch is not only a rich colour but the velvet also gives it dimension and texture. I love how it picks up the colour in the artwork.
