Adding A Home Coffee Bar

I don’t know about you, but my morning does not start without coffee. I don’t think it has much to do with the caffeine. As a matter of fact, I don’t even like the taste of coffee all that much. For me, it’s all about the routine. I love getting up when the house is still quiet and taking twenty minutes to myself. On cold morning, a hot cup of coffee is perfect for warming up and getting ready for the day.

With all the cups, filters, grinders, pods, machines, etc., a simple cup of coffee comes with A LOT of accessories. Organizing your counters and getting rid of clutter is one of the fastest and easiest ways to make a kitchen feel bigger. Below I’ve put together a few of my favourite ideas on keeping all that coffee STUFF under control!

If you have a little space in the corner of the kitchen (or even a outside the kitchen) consider setting up a coffee bar. This keeps everything tidy and in one place. You can use a piece of up cycled furniture like a console table, rolling kitchen island or even a piece made out of shipping palettes! Paint a chalkboard, put up a simple rod or hooks for cups and add decorative canisters for storage. Check out the ideas below and don’t forget to click on the images for sources.

If you’re short on space create a stylish space for coffee in the kitchen by removing a few cabinet doors or adding floating shelves. Or you can use a coffee station as an excuse to dress up the counter. Just remember to keep it tidy!
