WELCOME TO BERMUDA'S OLDEST PAINT STORE

SNEAK PEEK – November Home Decor Arrivals PREVIEW

We’ve been busy expanding our craft room over the past couple of weeks and except for a few places where the plaster is still curing our new space is ALMOST ready.  Most importantly though, our new shelves are up which means now we can continue to fill them with more home decor!

There are a still a few items left from our September and October orders (check them out here) and our November order is on the way and should be hitting our shelves late next week (November 9th).  There are some great items for the kitchen and (eeekkk!) Christmas decorations for the table, counters and mantle.  Is anyone else shocked that the holidays are only a couple months away?

Want a sneak peek at what’s coming?  Let’s start in the kitchen!  Cooler weather means I can finally start cooking and baking again.  After all, it’s hard to get excited about turning the oven on when it’s already 90 degrees in the kitchen.  Now you can put all your hard work on a pedestal!

I don’t know about you but I’m always fighting ants in the kitchen.  We try to never leave any food on the counter or in the sink but some items I just can’t store in the fridge.  These metal bread boxes have a bamboo lid and so do the ceramic bowls.  They will look pretty on the counter while keeping the bugs out.

Looking to give your kitchen that farmhouse feel?  Fill these stoneware bowls with cereal or ice cream – we won’t judge.  And the matching pitcher is big enough to fit six cups of your favourite beverage.

Let’s talk about bobby pins.  When I need one I can never seem to find one.  When I DON’T need one they are  strewn all over the bottom of every drawer.  These adorable ceramic pots are perfect for storing anything that’s small and easy to lose.

Need a place to store all your new finds?  Storage in our warehouse is limited but we did manage to order a couple of these cabinets.  With glass doors and a warm white distressed finish they are a perfect addition to the living or dining room.  Check one out in our craft room where we will use it for display purposes.

Did you notice the days are getting shorter?  When you don’t need all the lights on but just want to brighten up the corner desk or nightstand this lamp is perfect!

You can’t go wrong with gold if you want to add some glitz and glamour to your home.  At just shy of 14″ this vase is big enough to hold even taller arrangements.

Sure it’s easy to stay in touch with your family with a text message but it’s more fun to use this large scale rolling kitchen notepad.  Use rolls of brown kraft paper to write down grocery lists, weekly schedules or sweet notes to your loved ones.

Use these glass bottles as flower stem vases or simply line them up on the dining room table or fireplace mantle.  Want to upgrade your storage?  These wire baskets are perfect for everything from fruits and vegetables to craft supplies.

Can you believe the holidays are right around the corner?  We’ve got lots of goodies that will make your home festive!  For the tree, we have glass ornaments filled with a flickering LED candle perfect for giving your tree extra sparkle.  Or you can clip on these remote controlled candlesticks!

Hanging stockings on the fireplace?  Stop making extra holes in your woodwork or walls and get rid of those unsightly plastic hooks. This cast iron reindeer stocking hook is pretty AND functional.  No fireplace? No problem!  It will work equally as well on the edge of a  bookshelf.  While you’re decorating, these LED porcelain trees will make a beautiful lit up display on any surface.

Planning your next holiday party?  These deer chalkboards make the perfect place holders.

We can’t wait to unpack all these new arrivals plus many more in our next container.  They should be in our shop and on our shelves the first week of November so stay tuned!
