What’s New In Home Decor In October

First of all, we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the shop to check out our new home decor. Our first order has almost sold out and our next order should be hitting the shelves later this week (hopefully by Saturday). We are still (im)patiently waiting for our contractor to get started on the new space so we can display all the new goodies but in the mean time we’ve been managing with the limited space we have and selling most items directly from the warehouse. If you ever see something on line that you don’t see in the shop please ask – chances are we have it stashed on our shelves somewhere!
Since I am not a patient person, not having the space hasn’t stopped me from stocking up on more goodies. Below you can find our next round of new arrivals which should be delivered and unpacked this week PLUS I’ve already placed by Christmas order (because the holidays will be here before we know it).
Want a sneak peek at what just arrived? Let’s start in the kitchen! I am a bit obsessive about keeping the counter clear and getting rid of clutter is one of the easiest ways to make a small space feel bigger. Last month we received the wooden trays that match this three tier stand so I have a pretty good idea of what it will look like and can’t wait! And if you’re looking to tidy up the utensil drawer this crock pot set its a great way to organized.
Everything looks better in a pretty tray! Use the carved mango wood stand under candles or vases and keep your soap from getting soggy by displaying it in the stoneware holder perfect for the kitchen or bathroom.
Sometimes you just need a small desk lamp to brighten up a dark corner. This compact one stands at just eighteen inches high and comes in a soft seafoam colour with copper accents (which are super trendy these days). I can’t wait to steal one for home!
Got a wine lover on your gift list? Those bottles can be hard to wrap and paper bags add to our waste bin but these canvas ones are not only fun but also reusable. They’re almost a gift of their own!
Confession – I am HORRIBLE at keeping plants alive. Also, if you remember I don’t like cluttering up the counters. These hanging pots are the perfect solution. Sure – you can hang them from ceiling hooks but also from cabinet knobs and bookcases. And while on the topic of plants, these pitchers can be used for your favourite beverage OR your favourite plant.
Winter is coming and pretty soon the garden won’t be as colourful. Bring it indoors with this set of 5 planters. Get creative and use it for organizing your workspace – it’s perfect for pens, pencils, papers, etc!
I love anything grey so a few of these ceramic canisters are definitely coming home with me. My super talented husband just built some shelves above the fireplace mantle and they will be a perfect fit.
The holidays will be here before we know it and while these mason jar firefly lights will look amazing on the fireplace or on the dining room table, you can use them year round to add a farmhouse touch to your deck or backyard. They’re powered by 3 AA batteries and stretch 51″.
