WELCOME TO BERMUDA'S OLDEST PAINT STORE

Friday Favourites November 3rd

It’s November already!?  I can’t believe that this week I sent out out Thanksgiving dinner reservations and started to put out Christmas stock at the shop.  This year flew by and so did the week so it’s time for another batch of Friday Favourites from our Pinterest Boards!

Every morning in the Fall before daylight savings kicks in, my husband grumbles about waking up and going to work in the dark.  But here’s a great reminder that every day is a new opportunity for something wonderful.  Chalkboard paint is great just about anywhere but I’m loving it as a fun touch to the bathroom: TIP:  While most chalkboard paints dry super fast, they usually have a three day cure so don’t start writing right away.

Speaking on getting out of bed, who would ever want to leave THIS beautiful bedroom?  Layers of beige, pink and cream combine to create a soft space perfect for relaxing.  The low contrast colour scheme is soothing to the eyes and lots of layers make it feel extra cozy.  See more of this amazing space here.

We have started aggressively saving for our kitchen renovation (5 years to go!) but in the meantime I’ve been pinning kitchens like crazy!  I love this blue and white colour combination with orange chairs for a pop of colour.  The open shelves make dark navy cabinets feel lighter and gold hardware is the perfect finishing touch.

Is this not the perfect colour scheme?  Blue and pink accessories are layered on top of light grey cabinets and cool off white walls.  The fabrics and art add just another colour to keep the space interesting without feeling childish.  The entire space feels breezy and fresh.

Let’s end the workweek on a fancy note.  How stunning is this ceiling!?   And I’m in love with the rich blue colour on the walls.  Sure, this look may not be for everyone but I couldn’t help sharing this stunning space.

There’s more where this came from!  See thousand of our decorating and design Pins on our boards here. Isn’t it beautiful! It’s feminine without feeling too girlie and layers of soft neutrals create the perfect cozy space. Plus those beams are amazing! Thank you for visiting!
