Decorating With Concrete

Some of the most stunning rooms combine a mixture of patterers, textures and building materials.  Even though years ago concrete served mostly a functional purpose, these days it can make a beautiful and stylish addition to a home’s decor.  And because it’s extremely durable, concrete is a great material for floors and counters!

Even though it’s perfect for modern spaces, concrete elements like coffee tables, plant pots and even headboards can easily be incorporated into more traditional rooms.  Warm them up with soft rugs in bright colours, cozy blankets, or earth toned paint colours.  Concrete can also be mixed with wood, glass or metallic accents, tinted to match your home’s colour scheme or polished for that extra bit of shine.
