COLOUR COMBINATIONS – Pink And Gold

Working all day with a group of guys (who are super handy for lifting of heavy objects and getting things off the top shelf!), I sometimes feel it necessary to look at pretty girly things – in pink.
Most of us associate pink with little girls and princesses but when added (in moderation) to a space it can become a stunning adult colour.
Nothing brings out the beautiful blush of pink better than metallic gold. Not only does a bit of sparkle add visual interest, it also compliments the warm undertones of pink fabrics, accessories, or (yes) wall paints. One of the best ways to add a bit of gold is through cabinet or furniture hardware (especially white pieces). It’s just enough to get noticed but not overpowering.
For a bold statement try full impact colours like magenta and fuchsia. For soft feminine spaces, look for dusty pinks with a hint of grey. And speaking of grey, this cool tone is great for balancing shades of pink.
