GUILFORD GREEN – Benjamin Moore Colour Of The Year 2015

Green is one of the most common colours in nature and because our eyes are so accustomed to seeing it we find it familiar and soothing but it can be tough to find a cheerful green wall colour that doesn’t look electric.  That’s why I love Benjamin Moore’s Colour Of The Year for 2015 – Guildford Green HC-116.   Out of the Historical Collection, this shade still has that spring feel perfect for creating breezy bright spaces without being overpowering.

Green is an earth tone and will pair beautiful with other organic shades like red, orange or brown but I love how Benjamin Moore has paired Guilford Green with other green tones like Jack Pine 692, High Park 467, Antique Jade 465 and Timothy Straw 2149-40.

I like this color very much and it falls into the “Holistic Hues” I’m trying to incorporate into the homes. Great color choice and I’m so glad we are starting to see more green. Let’s start saying goodbye to blue.
