TIDY STORAGE – Organize Your Stuff

Over the years, we have collected a lot of “stuff” which usually overflows into unused rooms and shelves. Usually, my organizing routine involves stuffing a closet/drawer/cabinet and shutting the door. If you can’t see it, it’s not there. However, as we’ve been tidying up the house for the holidays (Thanksgiving is 6 weeks away!?!?!) I’ve made a concentrated effort to get rid of things we don’t use/need and better arrange the items we have left over.
Stylish baskets, bins or boxes are a great way to not only organize things like keys, hats, paperwork or dinnerware but also way to make them a part of your decor. Use materials or colours that fit into your colour scheme. If you’re crafty, add a personal touch by covering old containers with fun fabric or craft paper. Add ribbons for decoration or a chalk board tags to help you things faster.
I have put together some great ideas from Houzz. Click on the images for more and wish me luck!
