POPS Of Colour

Sometimes a little bit of colour goes a long way – especially in a white room. While I love colour (every room in our house is a different shade) the contrast between a crisp white wall and a bold accent can be dramatic and create a cheerful room that feels bright and open.
TIP: If you’re renting your home painting the walls may not always be an option. Have fun with bright fabrics, accessories or art to personalize your space.
If you love DIY spray paint a light fixture, mirror, or picture frame in sunny yellow or apple red. In the kitchen a bright pot or bowl of lemons stands out against white counters and walls. Add a bright shower curtain or towels in the bathroom to contrast with white tile. Chairs or blankets make great accents in a living or dining room and bright fabrics are the perfect accessories in the bedroom. Fresh flowers are a great addition to any room and can be changed out frequently for a new look.
