PLATES – Out Of The Cupboard And Onto The Walls

Colourful plates can add style and fun to your meal but did you ever think they can do the same for your walls?  Bright dinnerware in pretty prints can make a great alternative to artwork!  Have a favourite set with a couple of broken pieces you can no longer use for meals?  Take it out of the cupboard and arrange it on the walls.

To give your plate wall weight, pair with other pieces like mirrors or artwork.  Have fun with creative patterns and designs – just remember to plot out your arrangement with paper or cardboard cutouts before nailing into the wall!  And even though this style lends itself to kitchens and dining rooms, it can also be a great way to dress up a headboard in the bedroom.
