Bold Bathrooms

Want to experiment with colour? A bathroom is a great place to have fun with bold shades! The space is usually small so painting (or repainting) won’t take a long time. Have a spare bathroom or powder room? Wow your guests with a fun look.
What kind of paint is best in the bathroom? We prefer an eggshell finish. It’s easy to keep clean and won’t show waterspots or streaks. Love hot showers? Try Benjamin Moore Aura Bath And Spa. It’s designed for humid environments and will cover better even in accent colours.
Got mold? Don’t forget to clean it off before painting. A mix of Clorox and water (50/50) works well. After bleaching, wipe off any leftover cleaner with fresh water, let dry, prime over any left over stains, then put on your top coat.

Loving the idea of bold bathrooms! You made a great point about it being a small enough space to really play around with the bold colors. With the right appliances you could turn any small bathroom into a fun themed bathroom, or just one with fun colors to “jazz” it up a little.
You’re right! For those who are a bit more colour shy a bright colour in towels, rugs, or shower curtains is a great compromise.
Agreed! If you choose the right color, just using accessories could be the great color change you’re looking for, with low cost and no hassle of painting as well.
